Geocache Description:

Hike to the Angler POW / Japanese Internment Camp - stage 6

The cache is a small peanut butter jar covered in duct tape. The cache is located inside an old house foundation.Apparently during World War II, this area was initially used for a German Prisoner of War Camp before it was moved to Neys Beach area - present location of Neys Provincial Park. This area was then turned into a Japanese Internment Camp. At that time the only way into this area was by train. Be sure to tour the Visitor's Centre at Neys Provincial Park for more information regarding the German Prisoner of War Camp.Original Contents of the Cache: 2 Lions Club of Marathon Free Tickets - 3 compass keychains - 1 moose button - 1 pencil crayon - 1 toy car - the usual logbook and pencil
