This cache is located along the Roaring Lion Creek Trail. The trailhead is at the end of Roaring Lion Road about 1 mile past the Ward Mountain Trailhead.
The trail starts out on the south side of Roaring Lion Creek. The trail crosses to the north side at a horse crossing. You can ford the stream on rocks if the water level is low or walk upstream to a large log that spans the creek. Follow the trail for 6 to 7 miles. When you come to a large clearing and a shallow stream ford on rocks, the cache is just back up the trail a little ways, where you climb over boulders and a little runoff flows to the creek between them. I kept losing satelite reception everytime I tried to average the cords, so they could be off some. The cache is in a 1/2 litter Cyclone water bottle. The trail continues on the other side of the creek to a canyon where the trail ends.
