Rocky trail, but no big rocks. Easy for most people.
We did this for people that can't hike the 3 Miles Up, 3 Miles Down cache. It offers a unique view of Gasquet and the North and Middle Forks of the Smith River. It just happens to be 3 miles up, and 3 miles down, but you get to drive this one! Its at an elevation of 1,776 ft. You will be looking for a rocky drive on the left side. I don't think there will be any problem for any vehicle, the worst is at the entrance. Once you reach the site, there is a large flat area. Perfect for a picnic with a view! The actual cache site offers the best view, but if you have kids or dogs they need to be on a short leash at the cache site. We found a bee nest in a stump 100 ft. in a westerly direction from the cache. This will pose no problem, unless climbing and jumping on the stump.
