Geocache Description:

This cache is the anchor point for 4 caches that form a large baseball diamond in the Utah desert. The "bases" are .90 of a mile apart and serve as reference points for my baseball moving caches as they are converted to stationary caches to preserve the experiences, photos, and memories of the caches' journeys.

Between this cache and its three companion caches (First, Second, Third) are 16 of the "Going to a Game Moving Cache" caches that have been converted to stationary caches. This not only allows viewing of all the great photos and reports of the cache's history but, at the same time, provides a fair number of caches to an area that doesn't have many caches.

When I placed this cache, walking the .78 of a mile from the road, I crossed many fresh animal trails containing footprints of wild horses, coyotes, pronghorn antelope, and deer. Other signs tell me that they creatures are abundant here so there is a good chance you may come across them while on your hunt. I saw many pronghorns and a few deer while out here when I placed these caches. I have seen wild horses a couple of times in the past but they are more scarce.

I hope you enjoy these caches and the walk to them. The terrain is fairly flat with no significant elevation change. The walk starts out in cedar trees that slowly give way to open range and a wonderful view of many mountain ranges in all directions.

The cache itself is a .30 caliber ammo box hidden in a sage brush for shade. It will be very easy to spot. It started out with a few baseball related trade items. It is also the "Home" of Mr. Happy that was given to me by CCCooperAgency. It is just like the ones she puts in her HAPPY cache series and, like those, it is to stay with the cache. (It's his home after all). Please take a picture of Mr. Happy with one of your caching companions and post it with your log report for all to see.
