We wanted to start a series of Pizza feeds or other events in Central Oregon set about three months apart. This is the second pizza feed in the series, after all the other picnics and campouts for the summer. It is time to head indoors me thinks.
Lets have the second C.O.P.F.E. cache in Central Oregon.
Anyone wanting to participate should show up and voice their opinion about what they would like to see done for other events in Central Oregon next summer.So we will be at the above posted numbers.
The last time, I made sure we had plenty of room for 40 plus people. We did not expect this many the time before and got hammered with people and lack of room.
Guess what?
60 plus people showed up last time and still not enough time or room it seems.
But seeing as this is the BIGGEST FREE ROOM I could get, we will be there again. This location is more central for people from Sisters, Madras, Prineville and LaPine as well.
The event will start at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 13th, 2004 and will run for two hours - which is all the time I could get the room for- unless someone wants to piggy back another time frame or room for afterwards.
Red said she is springing for the first two pies but you have to get your own drinks.
And as "normal", there will be a travel bug exchange as well as a sign in sheet.
Now, for something "outside the box" for central Oregon.
We will be starting a "30/30" Cache Exchange at this event.
What am I talking about you ask? Bring a full blown cache can just like you want to find. Goodies, logbook, writing sticks etc. - No micros at this time, Please. We will be sitting the containers on a table. We will then draw names of cache donors from a container and they will get to choose any of the donated caches from the table. Then, you will have 30 days and 30 miles radius from the event to place the cache. And somewhere along the line we will be drawing for another T-Shirt.
