Geocache Description:

On Carter's Beach in Port Mouton.

Carter’s Beach is a beach lover’s paradise. Its water is clear, Caribbean blue-green and its sand as soft as powder. It’s a popular spot with locals to walk and quietly relax. It is now our favorite Nova Scotian beach. We love collecting the sand dollars that lie in the sand and surf. There are 3 half moon shaped beaches, although to access the last 2 you must wade across a creek at low tide and brave the cold waters.Carter’s Beach is approximately ½ hour past Liverpool from Halifax in the community of Port Mouton. We hope you enjoy our first of, we hope, many caches on the south shore.
