Geocache Description:

Camo ammo can hidden off a snowmobile trail near the George D. Aiken Wilderness.

Welcome to the George D. Aiken Wilderness area! This great spot is located off of Route 9 west of Bennington and Woodford, Vermont. You will want to dress appropriately -- it's MUDDY and there is some bushwacking involved.

You will need to stay on the snowmobile trail for the first .41 miles and then bushwack the last 200+ feet. The following coordinates may be useful:

Park: 42 52.006/73 01.223
Begin Bushwack a little before: 42 51.944/73 00.750

After the point where you should bushwack the regular trail becomes INCREDIBLY muddy, so I suggest you start around where I indicated.

Enjoy! This will take you to a great area in Vermont with peaceful trails, lots of wildlife and great scenery.

This area is part of Green Mountain National Forrest however the cache does NOT appear to be on Wilderness lands.
