Team DK: Ja det er mange år siden vi oprettede denne cache. Dengang var der ikke så mange cacher i Danmark og slet ikke multicacher.
Cacher hvor det godt kunne blive lidt "farligt" at finde dem, var der heller ikke mange af. Så det forsøgte vi at lave.

Nu er den væk.

Vestvolden

Vestvolden er navnet på det 14.5 km lange militære voldanlæg mellem Avedøre ved Køge Bugt og Utterslev Mose. Den ligger i en afstand af 9 km fra Københavns centrum. Dens officielle navn ved opførelsen var Vestenceinten. Vestvolden blev anlagt i årene 1888-92.Vestvolden er en del af Københavns Landbefæstning, hvor befæstningen efter Utterslev Mose fortsætter med forter og batterier ud til Øresund ved Klampenborg.

Vestencienten is the fourteen and a half kilometre embankment to the west of Copenhagen. Situated at about a nine kilometre radius from the center of the old city, it was established as a part of the city's defence lines, along with the lowlands to the north which were capable of being over flooded and with the sea fortresses built upon the artificially built islands in the sound to the east of the city.
