Chip and Dale's Retreat Multi-Cache
Gecko Eye: In the last 8.5 years, this multi has brought a lot of people to the nature preserve. As my family will be moving out of the areas the cache will be archived.

This is a 3-part multicache in the Nero Nature Preserve. Entrance to the park is via Bean Road, and an entrance to the paths is just NW of the parking lot (N 41 31.198 W 81 12.070). No bushwhacking is necessary -- all parts are just off the trail. The trails are not well marked, so you might want to mark the parking lot as a waypoint to find your way back! Please note that there is a lot of poison ivy on the trails! Enjoy this relatively new and unknown Munson Townships park!
In December 1999, the Munson Trustees purchased this property from the Domenic Nero family. The park land is 165 acres in size and contains a mixture of woods, wetlands, hills and flat space. The park is part of the Chagrin River Land Conservancy, and they are lending their expertise and assistance in cutting in walking trails. Area scout troops constructed park benches and wooden trail sections for future use, and roughed in trails.
