updated: 12/20/2015 A great secluded hike that will be very enjoyable for the advanced geocacher looking for a challenge.
At the base of Blodgett Peak I have been hiking this small trail for years and have wanted to put a cache in the configuration I setup sense I started geocaching.
Please know that all the clues are no more than 4-6 feet from the trail, so don't wonder far and be careful on the final, no need to risk your life, but if heights is not in you, then I would not do this cache
Some other notes about this cache:
- Near leg 3 notice a fork in the trail? If you want to find forget me not, then take the left fork and you can climb to the ridge and around the bowl to Forget Me Not WWII crash site
- GPS reception is not good in most of the areas, caching skills will help
- I would not advise small children or pets on this cache, due to the various cliffs and uncharted trail
