When I was a kid this was a spot I use to come to quite often. We called the place Overlook Rock and you will see why when you find the cache. It seemed so much higher then, but then again, didn’t everything. This little area is all that is left of a plot of woods in the middle of Monroeville that had some interesting history.
Do NOT try to get to the cache from the Giant Eagle parking lot. This may seem the easiest way, but you would have to cross private property and two fences.
The terrain rating might be higher or lower depending on the approach you choose. In the fall and winter months there will be little brush, but in the summer bush wacking might be needed. If you get close to the cache and find yourself looking up, go to "point of interest #1" before starting the climb.
