Geocache Description:

This is a multicache that will zip you around Tamworth Village to find the treasure. The parts on the Remick Museum property are with permission.

First step: At the given coordinates, find Samuel Hidden’s stone. Take his date of death (day and year) renaming these numbers as AB CDEF. Now do the following equations to get the microcache coordinates. DEF - 448 = LMN. ABC + 336 = XYZMicrocache coordinates are: N 43.51.LMN W 071.15.XYZ Second step: Park just off of Rt. 113 at these coordinates: N 43.51.402 W071.15.733 Walk in to the microcache which has the final coordinates for the cache itself. Please do not drive on the fields, but walk in on the tire tracks. The first clue is for the microcache. Be sure to enjoy a lovely view of Mt. Chocorua.Third step: With the final set of coordinates, drive to the museum and park in the parking lot across the street and up the road. There is a trail along the river, follow this to the cache. Watch for a left arrow before a field. The second clue will help find the cache.Good Luck! This was totally designed by the kids. All I did was make sure the numbers were accurate. The cache is an ammo box with assorted trinkets and a log book. One of the kids put in a pile of marbles.
