This cache was started as a project with Falmouth Middle School students and exchange students from the Harrogate Rossett School in N. Yorkshire, England.
This cache is a standard, large ammo box hidden in the woods between Falmouth High School and Falmouth Community Park. Originally an introduction to geocaching for FMS students and their friends from the Rossett School. Now this cache contains "American" items to exchange and trade. (Originally: a Red Sox hat to celebrate the World Series champs, a Falmouth lanyard, several political stickers in honor of the upcoming election, as well as log book and pencil) The cache is 50+ feet off the trail which is accessible from several locations, including the middle school parking lot: 43 44.295/070 16.462, high school parking lot 43 44.423 / 070 16.439 and Falmouth Community Park where there is another cache hidden (Field of Ouch.) If you park behind the schools, the trails start behind the lower soccer/baseball fields in back of the High School or behind the bus area at the Middle School. The trails are used by cross country runners and skiers, as well as snowmobiles. Several bridges along the way are in need of some repair, but very walkable. Enjoy the trails. Happy Caching!
