Located near the base of Birdseye mountain, the terrain and location are both easy with an eye on discovering this area and enjoying the fun of finding a cache.
This is our first cache. We chose a relatively easy spot because thats the kind of cache that we like to find. In the Winter you can drive to within one mile of it because the road is not plowed. However the road is a snowmobile trail in the winter so it will be an easy walk. The cache is hidden in such a way as to not be buried by snow. The view of the mountain is gorgeous and well worth the drive since that perspective is only visible from this area. A small distance down the road from the geocache site is a picnic area with a similar view.
04/16/06 Its been a while since we've gone back to check the cache. We spruced it up and made sure that everything is still ok.
