What's the point? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

vombatus: After nearly 20 years this cache has been located by the Navy and removed. Sadly it cannot be replaced. There have been many interesting and adventurous logs telling of great adventures of walks and rides along the beach navigating the nudists (which I did not know were there when I placed it all those years ago). I can only hope some parents used it for educational purposes! Thanks for your consideration Poldark, I don’t think permission was even a consideration all those years ago. How the world has changed. Vale “What’s the Point”.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been down for some time but with the events of the past couple of years I was unsure if access to the area would be restricted, so I have waited to post it. Access is OK.

There are two ways in. One used by sailors and the other by the army (You cannot get access through the base itself - Think outside the square). Each has it's avantages and disadvantages. I am sure you can figure them out. Once at the co-ords seek out the weather man to find the buried treasure. Whilst you are in the area check out the following link and have a look around. www.navy.gov.au/establishments/cerberus/museum.htm A rod could come in handy as well. By the way "What's the point?"
