Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:

within fairlop country park just over half mile walklots of parking central line underground fairlop just a short walk away

Fairlop waters was once used as an airfield during the II world war.About 20 years ago the council created a lake with paths and 18 hole golf course. The facilities that are in the park are very good you could stop off and have lunch in the restaurant or pub or have a nice afternoon wandering around the lake.Sailing can also be seen here from time to time.I chose this location because it very flat and suitable for disabled geocaches (except the last bit around the tree's and things
