Not to be out done with the current trend of Crypto-Caches, I thought I would give it a try. I thought I would up the ante a bit, So Good Luck on this one!
The name should give you some clue as to the theme behind this 3-part multi. The third being the final. The first location may be familiar to you if you have completed other recent crypto-caches. As with others, when you get to locations, you will need to obtain some information to get to the next station. Your directions are encoded, and the spelled out coordinates are 2 codes deep, solve the first code, and then decipher the second, as you will find the letters are still scrambled.A report will be required to obtain qualifications to log a find as well. The report sent through normal channels will require the whos, wheres, and whats, found at each sight.If you have worked out other recent Crypto-Caches, this one will be quite elementary when compared. If you need help with the second decryption, don’t ask me, but check with Mr. Shodor and ask what he knows about Caesar. All things being equal, the constant can change!The final puts you at what some may know as Eisenhower Pond. This pond was dug out by the Navy in the 40’s to be used as a landfill. Only problem was when they dug it out, it filled in with water. As you must be well aware of, Pres Eisenhower was quite an avid fisherman. The stories I have heard told are that when he spent time in his summer White House in Newport, he liked to have a close by spot to go Bass Fishin. He had this nice little pond stocked with Largemouth Bass as well as Smallies. Both of which I have reaped the benefits of. Give it a try sometime…I am fond of the end closest to the final location! While there today, several fishers were doing well with state stocked Rainbows and Browns!UPDATE,6/12/05 the final has been slightly moved due to recent deposits of deer carcasses. When you obtain the final coords, add 22 to the latitude, and subtract 22 from the longitude.
