The coordinates bring you to a place called: ”Garden of Eden.”
In order to find the cache you have to cont the letters in the second name of
the information board, at the given coordinates. Name: GROOSEBEKKEN xxxxxxPARK.
The first letter (insted of x) = 0, the second = 1, etc.
The cache is located at N.58.21.A8A minus 00.00.003/ E.008.34.NDV minus 000.00.021. Now you have all the data you need. You just have to replace the letters you have found with the numbers and do the subtraction.
Park at the parking lot at N.58.21.319 / E.008.34.726 and follow the gravel road to “Garden of Eden”. When you know the coordinates for the cache I recommend to follow the GPS on a path straight to a sign regarding Barlind and Gran (Written in Norwegian) at N.58.21.270 / E. 008.34.403 and than proceed to the cache on a path behind the sign on top of the hill. (The path leading direct to the cache from this sign my be very muddy.)It is only 5 minutes walk to the cache.
At Dømmesmoen you will find the Ibsen’s herb garden, a well-maintained park, 43 graves dating back to 600-200 B.C., Walking Paths with informative markers, Norwegian Horticultural Museum and the National Centre for recyclable Energy Connected with Agder University College. During the summer you can rest in the nice park at the benches placed around “The Pound”, a natural spring that previously served as the water supply for the city of Grimstad. The cache was placed less than 2 m from the new view tower. (When the cache was placed on this place 8 month before the tower was built, I didn’t know of the plans for this tower. It is a bonus) Now I have moved it. That is why you have to do the subtraction.
The cache is a plastic container 1,8L, about 18 x 13 cm.
