Beware, the treacherous waters of the Indian River Lagoon!
Closest launch area is N 28 40.661' W 80 49.595'. This area is for canoes, kayaks, and small jon boats.
For a more aesthetically pleasing launchsite, you can put in from the Haulover Canal area on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
To find this cache, you will have to navigate the waters that are know to be inhabited by the infamous Capt. Boonie - a pirate of legendary proportions who has been blamed for kidanpping, plundering ships, and running unwary vessels aground.
The cache may contain information that will lead to the whereabouts of the Bushwacker Bonus Stick.
Use the utmost caution when approaching strange vessels! It could be Capt. Boonie lying in wait for his next unfortunate victim!!!
