Geocache Description:

Located off of Nicholas Street in Elizabethtown Kentucky

Bud Henry Jones (1917-20xx) worked as a sewer plant operator for the City of Elizabethtown from 1941 until 1982 when he retired with 41 years of service. at the time of his retirement his co-workers at the water plant, and plant maintenance departments were involved in clearing brush from an area above what is known as City Spring. The Idea to create a small park like area with picnic tables for the purpose of having a retirement cookout took root and Bud Henry Jones Memorial Park was born.
This cache is a multi with three parts, there is plenty of parking available within sight of the first set of coordinates and while driving to this cache is possible, parking and walking are preferred! PLEASE OBSERVE THE NO TRESPASSING SIGNS NEAR THE FIRST SET OF COORDINATES! NO PART OF THIS CACHE REQUIRES YOU TO TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY! LET'S NOT GIVE ANYONE AN EXCUSE TO THINK BAD OF GEOCACHING! For the first part of this cache you will be looking for a magnetic key case containing only cordinates to the second part. The second part has no container just coordinates to the actual cache. The cache itself is a camo 1/2 Gallon container with a log book and other misc items. Important Note: On the way from the second set of coordinates to the main cache you will be required to cross valley creek at a point that in wet weather may have swift moving water over it! if upon reaching the crossing point there appears to be more than 2 inches of water running over the concrete I strongly advise you to wait for a better day.
