This cache is at a spot I used to love to go and ride the ferry! The old Washington Ferry. Any of you out there remember it or got to ride on it?
When my Dad/Mom moved down to the Athens area quite a few yrs ago, the Washington Ferry was still operating. I was lucky enough to get to ride on it 4 or 5 times before 'progress' shut it down. I would bring friends down from Indiana with me to ride on it. My husband got to ride on it once-he feels lucky. This cache is a reminder of the great time we used to have riding the Washington Ferry and of times gone by before 'progress' ruined it!
I wanted to put a traditional cache here to trade out of, but either side of the little road that's still left is on private property.
There's always fisherman around-it's used as a boat dock now. Stealth may be required. I put it as a 2 on the terrain-I placed this in November, so not too much scrub to wade thru'-but there may be more in the summer.
The cache is in a pill bottle. When I put the coords in my GPSr, it was within' 3 ft of cache. Please rehide the best you can and remember to BYOP.

BBB and MDC both said that critters had been fooling with the cache. Playing with it and such. So, I went today and moved it. Hope it'll be OK there. If not-please let me know and I'll do something else to foil Rocky Raccoon.
