Updated cooridnates! Located on an small island, easy to reach using a boat or if you pay the entrance fee to Furuviksparken or if the gates are opened to the amusement park during off season.
I feel sorry for all that have tried to find the cache. I have now updated the coordinates. I don't know what went wrong with my Garmin 60 CS but now it seems to be all right, at least according to the friluftskartan map.
I also saw steps in the snow so the people looking for the cache were around 30-40 m off course.
The cache is located near the old Fortres that once was used to protect the coast and city of Gävle from enemy ships. The Forteres is now a museum that is opened dayly in June, July and August.
Have a look at the two guns and how the life was for the soldiers during WW 2.
The cashe originally contained: A log book, two pencils, Key ring, Cook Book, Pringle magnet, Swiss army envelope opener a plastic toy and a wodden toy.
