Edited:11/08/09- Replaced original container with an ammo box We put a new log book and some new trinkets in the jar. Thank you for the cacher who told us that the jar and contents were damp. Also a great big thank you to the 40 cachers who have found this since it's been placed. It was fun to read the log book and we're glad that you've enjoyed visiting this spot. While in the area, you might want to check out our other caches, Quiet Saints (GCKQK9) and All Arches Aren't Golden (GCM0V2) Edited: 2/17/05, We noticed a log stating that a geocacher crossed the ice formed on one of these lakes. These lakes were formed as part of an old gravel pit and can be very deep. Unless you find a Safe Ice sign, placed there by the city, please don't venture out on the ice for ice fishing, skating, walking, etc. We really don't want to lose any geocachers. There is a new entrance at N40 23.361, W082 30.407 that will put you closer to the cache. (but you'll miss a nice long walk)
