This is a NIGHT ONLY cache located in the Wichita Forest in Highland Village Texas. This park closes at 11:00 pm so make sure you give yourself enough time! The coordinates are NOT for the cache, it is the starting point.
I’m borrowing this idea from some great cachers out in Fannin County. Their “Night moves” cache is one of my all-time favorites. Thanks TeamFannin!
Before you start out, make sure you have fresh batteries and your GPS is set for backtracking.
The coordinates are for the parking/entrance area. Once there, shine a flashlight around…You should see a reflective tack or two. They are a little smaller than a dime. Once you find one, stand near it and shine your light around until you find another. They are there to lead the way through the woods and back to the beginning. Continue following these until you spot the cache or have to start the loop again.
It's like connect the dots!
Remember the woods are different at night... and you may not be the only thing prowling around out there. Take the time to enjoy the evening, and be careful! Expect some mild bushwacking!
Remember this park closes at 11:00 pm.
