Geocache Description:

A child's game from long ago - now transformed into a high tech EXPERIENCE!

Come one!
Come ALL!
Just come to the only (as reported to me) federally funded bird sanctuary within a city boundary in the United States!
Your journey starts at Webster's Pond off of Valley drive - please DO NOT USE THE CHURCH ENTRANCE REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOUR GPSr READS - Thank You!
Here you will find...well...Ducks, more ducks, and Geese, along with a myriad of trout (especially Rainbows!). You can feed the ducks, geese, and other waterfowl if the shed is open, which is usually most of the time - with corn - many ducks and geese will eat right from your hand! TOO COOL! There is also fish "food" (Pellets) available as well - that the large trout will readily eat in front of the barn! Please respect ALL OF THE SIGNS and RULES for the area! Thank You again! Permission has been granted to place this cache from the Angler's Association/Pond personnel - so let's keep it nice for everyone to enjoy!
After feeding the ducks and geese, better take out that ol' GPSr and have a look!
You'll be exploring many a view - THERE IS NO NEED TO GO NEAR THE WATER - and while there is some bushwacking involved at the end (maybe the last 50 feet or so) - be sure to take the TRAIL that you will find - please don't just ram through the brush - as it's been purposefully made easy, as well so everyone will be able to be covert as this place is usually PACKED all year round! Follow the trail until your GPSr says not to anymore - and search LOW, but not too low! You will eventually find a small (12 oz.) juice bottle that has been camoflauged with green, brown and black paint - but alas, to make it easier - the label is in white! It may be covered with leaves, sticks, or anything else (hmmmmm.....wonder what?!), wedged someplace, tied someplace - think like a geocacher like they say and you are sure to hit paydirt. Just PLEASE return the container to the same state/covering that you found it (or better covering if you feel the need!).
The cache contains:
The usual "logbook" and pencil.
Some magnets.
A hair tie back/holder made of leather from Tibbetts the Geodog - you'll see why! :-)
A stamp for the taking.
and a few other smaller prizes!
PLEASE sign the logbook, and if you have something small to trade - please feel free!
This will be very easy for us to maintain as we only live one block away - so look for updates often to the "stash in the cache!". The readings above were taken on two different days and we had seven to nine satellites captured when recording - all were less than 25 feet accuracy - mainly due to the trees we figure, as it's a bit thick in there in places...
Please let us know what you think of the area and cache in your logs, as we love feedback!
Please do not litter - as we only say that because one of our caches had to be removed because someone left behind the cache printout sheet - there are trash cans all over, and it's always nice to practice CITO - anyone who CITO's in the logs will be listed in the CITO Hall of Fame on this very page!
***A NEWS FLASH HAS JUST ARRIVED!***
Crazy Quacker the duck has brought me a message - there is a really nice prize for the FTF - but since the container is a bit small; Ol' Quacker had to place it in a baggie, and under the exact location of the cache container! COOL! (It's literally underneath it - it just wouldn't fit in!)....

NOW....Go back and feed them birds! They are probably still hungry! LOL! :-)
Thanks for stopping by - hope to see you in the woods Quakin' around!
*A Team Yay WUV!!!! Production*
