The name says it all. Take nature trail for a short (less than 1/4 mile) hike. When you see the balanced rock climb to top of hill and follow GPS.
Nature trail is on the west end of park about 1 mile from entrance. It is by a comfort station and is plainly marked. Very interesting rock formations along trail and also the remnants of an old sheep pen so when you finish Geocaching explore the trail for a while longer and enjoy the lake. Cache is an ammo can and contains- Wheres George cash, Motorized camo ATV, Park Ranger Badge, Tic Tac Toe game, Pistol Pete fishing lure, Power Grubs fish lures, Smokey Bear rulers and pencils.

A vehicle entry permit is required in all New Mexico State Parks.
