Geocache Description:

This cache has four mini’s (not micro’s) and a .50 cal ammo can at the final. Parking coordinates for this cache is at the Freeman’s Bridge Fishing Access Site in Scotia, NY:

N 42° 49.876’
W 73° 55.860’

There is construction at the parking location, so be careful.

From the parking lot, you don’t have to cross busy Freeman’s Bridge Rd., head towards the bridge and follow the path under the bridge to the series of micros which are pretty much along the bike path. Total round trip walk is about 2 miles.

Condition of bike path under Freeman's Bridge is not in very good condition; but the rest of the trail is OK. Part 3 is a bit different than 1 & 2; believe your GPSr!

NOTE - Original Part 2 has disappeared and replaced (8 Sep 05). Coordinates at Part 1 have been updated to reflect new location. (Part 2 disappeared again, but was re-replaced on 13 May 07). Part 3 vanished over the winter and has been replaced with a new container and slightly different location.
It is not necessary to cross over or under the RR tracks for any location!

Cache update (12/12/04) - Mrs. Stargeezer and friend visited this cache today and noted that parts of the bike trail are underwater. Please note that these conditions can occur; the hides themselves are dry. Wear appropriate footwear to stay dry.
