CTomGeo: This cache has gone missing at least three (3) times. Even today, I was the center of attention for all the homeless people in the park as I searched for the cache and then checked out the park for another hiding place. Consequently, I've decided to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

An easy 2-stage multi-cache

The actual cache container is not at the above coordinates. Follow the below directions to learn where it actually is – an easy walk from the first stop.

Besides this cache, this wonderful little park includes a Historical Museum dedicated solely to the history of the City of Sunnyvale. For the outdoors, sporty types it also is the home of the Sunnyvale Lawn Bowls Club and their bowling green. Your search for this cache will give you the opportunity to learn a little bit of Sunnyvale history. Do take the time to check out the museum, which includes only Sunnyvale related exhibits and artifacts.

Go to the above coordinates. There you’ll find information about Sunnyvale’s first heavy industry.

A = the last digit of the year the mill was purchased by the Iron Man Museum.

B = 1 less than the last digit of the year the iron works became operational in Sunnyvale.

Now take the latitude of the above coordinates and add AB. This will give you the latitude of the final cache.

There you’ll find a plaque telling you a little more history about Sunnyvale. (Not counting the header [title] of the plaque,)

C = the number of letters in the last word in line 3

D = the number of letters in the fifth word in line 6

Now take the longitude of the coordinates of this second stage and subtract CD. This will give you the longitude of the final cache.

Be cautious in your search for the cache, because street people like to spend time in this quiet park.
