RocStock by Tall Can Traditional Cache
Tall Can: As xpodx has confirmed (on 6/15/08), the RocStock cache has been lost, stolen or abducted by alien tweakers looking for scrap metal. Maybe next year I will have another one ready for this area. Whoever took this one, you know who you are. You have deprived kids and their families from finding treasure and adventure. I will look for another ammo can to place the next one. Thanks xpodx for the info.

Lucerne Dry Lake. Short hike to one of the small hills. Elevation reading was 2,899'/ Dirt roads near cache site. Dry Lake can be muddy sometimes, most 2 wheel drives will make it most of the time. Use common sense about where NOT to drive in this area after rains.
This cache is an ammo can painted with some camoflauge patterns to help it blend in with its rocky environment. The cache contains about 8 AA batteries. The gunslinger TB is also in here(placed 11/12/04) An old bag of pachinko balls, compass, Safe-T-Ball, rubber balls, dog toy, some small jewelry pins, dragonfly, light bulb, Easter egg etc. Hot Wheels police car with crash door. Coleman 2AA cell Aluminum flashlight. RocStock is a Bi-Annual event that features model rocketry. Many RV's, tents, trailers and off roaders like to spend time out here. Nice place to just sit and look up at the sky....and watch rockets. Please re-hide the cache from muggles, there are a lot of them on weekends like RocStock. Good Luck.
