Geocache Description:

Second twin in the Chip N' Dale series of caches along Stagecoach Road off San Marcos Pass.

There was some discussion in the logs of Stage Stop by OCBTracker to have more caches along the route to or from this particularly interesting cache and location. And I whole heartedly agreed. So this is my effort to comply with said request.

Dale is the second twin as you come from the Cold Springs Tavern heading towards the Santa Ynez Valley. An Altoids container camouflaged to blend in with the sorroundings... Yeah, right! A good geocacher will see that it doesn't belong at all!! ...well, at least it'll discourage the wayward muggle!

Dale is not as "out there" as his twin brother Chip, he's more of a scaredy cat and is hiding safe and protected from any harm and from the rain too.

Cache contents are strictly buttons... geocaching buttons, goecacher's buttons, cute sayings on a button or a curve ball on a button. Take a button, leave a button.... or whatever you got that'll fit in an Altoids tin. But no pen. BYOP, please.

Parking here is simpler ... a large turn out with room enough for a service station.
