Geocache Description:

This is the first cache in a series designed with the fishing enthusiast in mind. I'll be adding more locations throughout the fall, winter and spring.

Hazle Township Park, the location of this cache, is a family friendly multi-use recreational area. The site of Lake Irena, a PFBC stocked lake, the park has an extensive playground, pavilions and picnic tables, restroom facility, soccer field complex, a new amphitorium, and lots of hiking trails. There is a map next to the restrooms with a guide map to the trail system. I highly recommend taking the white trail for a scenic walk along the stream.

Lake Irena is stocked with brook trout, brown trout, and also is home to largemouth bass, perch, and crappie. There are also lots of frogs to keep little geocachers quite happy.

Parking can be found at N 40° 58.828, W 76° 00.411. Cache container is a camouflaged ammo can. Also be sure to visit the nearby "Campfire Cache" while in the area.
