Cache Me While You Can Multi-Cache
ohjoy!: I am archiving this cache to make way for a simpler one-stage cache in an effort to encourage cachers to walk this beautiful trail.

The beautiful walk on the Overlook Trail at Woodard Bay to find this cache will take you near a Blue Heron rookery. Because the area is closed during the spring/summer nesting season, this cache will be unavailable between April 1 and August 15.
EVEN MORE IMPOARTANT!! Here are WP3 coordinates until I am able to get out there and replace WP2 once the trail is open again: N 47* 07.767 / W 122* 50.828
IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE STARTING: All waypoints are only a few feet off pedestrian areas. There will be no need to step on any native plants. As usual in these wooded areas, coordinates vary greatly even within the span of a few minutes. I have averaged many readings taken on three separate trips. By reading the waypoint information carefully and using the hints, you should have no trouble locating the hiding spots.
There are three waypoints and a final hide.
- Waypoint 1 is in a well-worn pedestrian walking area near where you will park.
- Waypoint 2 is less than 5’ off the pedestrian walking area; no plants to step on.
- Waypoint 3 is about 2’ from the pedestrian walking area; read the hint.
- Final Stage is just off the pedestrian walking area; no need to step on any plants.
I have often heard cachers say, “It’s the 1/1s that give us trouble. That led to making this cache a 1.5/1.5 to make it easier to find. I also resisted urges such as making this a puzzle cache based on native plant identification.
There is nothing new, unusual or difficult about this multi-cache. Just go and find it and enjoy your walk in one of my favorite wooded spots in Olympia. It’s just a short distance from Payback 3, so if you are getting frustrated with that cache, take a break and do this one for relief.
