Garden of Gods is
an area very appropriately named. You will see the artistic rock spires as you
enter the area.
To get to the area,
take Hwy 118 to North County Road and head west. Eventually you will pass a
little white concrete block home, slow down you are getting near. Next thing you
know as you round a curve you will see what appears to be a small town on the
left. It sort of looks like a movie set, but it's really a small bed and
breakfast called 10 Bits Ranch.
The owner of Ten
Bits Ranch, Steve, took us to a wonderful location to place the cache. It is now
been moved to their property on the edge bordering North County Road. You do NOT
need to go through the gate. Cache is only about 100 feet from public road and
NO CLIMBING is required. Please do NOT explore/climb with out absolute
permission and guidance from Ten Bits property owners.
You will miss the
beauty of this cache if you try to find it at night, please go during daylight
hours to respect the privacy of guests staying at the property down the road. If
you wish to explore the "town" nearby, you need to talk to the owners. Please be
respectful of the area and do NOT remove any rocks or artifacts you might see.
