Geocache Description:

"I am willing to stupulate that a lawyer has a right to live, and I'm aware that even when he's dead no worm will enter his coffin because if it did he'd make it sign some kind of a paper." --Archie Goodwin in "Over My Dead Body" by Rex Stout, 1939

INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST #73
”Mark Twain's Poem"

This quest will take you to Fairview Cemetery, Chester Township, Wabash County, just north of Servia. Servia is a great little ville; It has a four way stop, a church, an elevator, a park, (and little else except the houses) and the Post Office is in an old green trailer! This is a large active cemetery, with an old section. We found an obelisk, the monument to Christian and Lucinda Mylin, which reads, in part:

> "This ground was donated to the United Bretheren in Christ for Church and cemetery by C. Mylin Febr. 24, 1871".

You may find a granite monument to Edward Pauling (d. 1904) with the following verse:

"Warm Summer sun, shine kindly here, Warm Southern Wind, Blow softly here.
Green sod above, Lie light, Lie Light; Good Night, dear heart, Good Night, Good Night." --This last is the same as is written on Suzy Clemens' gravestone....

There are government markers here for Civil War Vets, and Spanish American War Vets...including Jacob Hipensteel, Co. D, 157 Ind. Inf., Sp. Am. War and Geo. W. Winesburg, Co. G, 138 Ind. Inf. (Civil War). NOTE: Hint is a Spoiler.

The cache container is a SMALL PLASTIC Spice Jar. BYOP. Park with care. If you find a fallen US flag, please stick it back in the ground. As always, please be respectful, and cache in, trash out.
