located at the Ridge on rt.271 just south of Pickin Chicken and north of summit sign on rt. 271
enter the Ridge(a recreation area) parking lot. to the left is a ball field. near the backstop on the field is a path that goes up the hill. take the path until it intersects with a tram road. turn right onto the tram road for about 20-30 feet. the path then continues to the left, going up the hill. at the top is another tram road. take this to the left and bear left when the tram splits. you will come to an open area that has blueberry bushes in patches. you will see a fire ring. from the fire ring the cache is about 65 yards down the hill among the pine trees. look for the tree that has a big Y. the cache is on the back side of the tree. it's an ammo can on the ground. i enjoy this area, but beware the gnomes playing among the trees!
