This lovely regional park get much less traffic than its bordering neighbor to the south, possibly because there are no lakes, steam trains, or pony rides. However, there are stunning views, varied ecosystems, and trails open to hikers, bikes and equestrians. There are also plenty of cows, who seem more territorial than usual this late fall, possibly protecting their many cute calves. Cache is no longer an ammo box, but the hidden date may be useful.
