White Pine Bush reserve is located beside SH2 between Awakeri & Taneatua. There's good parking though remember to remove all valuables from your car if leaving unattended.
This reserve is a small remnant of the Kaihikatea forest that used to be prevalent in the area. The walking track is flat & well maintained & suitable for wheelchairs.
Container is a .50 cal ammo can & contains the usual stuff.
