Geocache Description:

Cache is a two litre Sistema Klip-lock container full of goodies. It is well covered and protected. Please ensure you replace it as found.

Pretty straight forward cache to find. Maybe a bit more difficult in winter. You do not need to go through the bush to find this cache, it can be easily accessed via the beach. Just watch for land based and water based Muggles.

The cache is located across the river from the 'convict fence' (so-called because it was built by British convicts, whose transportation had been requested by the labour-starved Colony), which can still be seen in the river near Shelley. Its jarrah pilings were used to assist the navigation of barges carrying sawn timber down-river from the Mason-Bird Timber Company's mill at Mason's Landing.

There is a prize for the first finder.

If you wish to make any comments please post a log or email me. Please log your find in the cache and on Geocaching.com. Please no hints or multiple logs, but please do leave a photo or two. Phone a friend is allowed, but hopefully not required.

Congratulations to paddyk on his FTF - November 23, 2004.
