Located near Fleming Meadows.
Cache is an 80mm Mortar Tube. It contains 4 quarters, a Silva Compass, a Travel Bug, a pink plastic pig, hand wipes, an Incredibles Toy, a log and a pencil. This is a great park which boggles the mind of someone from the flatlands of IL. We don't have Forest Service land where we come from, so being able to geocache AND shoot in the same area is fantastic. All we left was the cache. We packed out our own brass as well as many other folks shotshell hulls. Be aware that hunting goes on in the area, so don't wear your wild game suits! We took our Dad along today for his first GC experience. He's hooked. We had a bit of a problem confirming coords, but with two units we think these should get you within 50 feet or so. The clues should take you the rest of the way. Feel free to add corrections if you feel the need. Since we're from IL, we won't be back until next year, so we won't be able to do corrections ourselves. Have fun, and enjoy this lovely walk.
