GA Cacher: I met with the president of the CRCA - Cobb Radio Controlled Aircraft group about the geocaches in this park. The county has added a off leash dog park adjoining this park. This addition has diminished the area they have to fly.
The insurer of the CRCA has tightened the distance requirements between non flight people and the in flight aircraft. The members must keep 250 feet away from anyone who is not in the viewing area. Therefore if we park and head to find a cache we walk near their flight area and they cannot fly within 250 feet of us.
SO I agreed it was all our intrests to pull all 3 of my caches at the park. please refrain form placing caches here.
We have a vast area to play our game, they only have this park.
