The McCain Ranch where a childhood friend of mine used to live.
Not much to the old ranch left now, the state has taken over the area. My friend Pi McCain used to live here with her family way back when. They are the ones that the whole area is named after. We used to ride her horses up to Rough Acres Ranch and watch the Chargers in training camp.
They always used to ask us if we had older sisters!!
Those Charger players thought they were out in the middle of nowhere and they were right! Sid Gilman was the coach then. Cache is log in only, bring a writing utensil!
UPDATE: May 20, 2007 The cache is now a waterproof match container that is a sliver cylinder. Remember to twist the barrel of the cache to open it after moving the top piece off.
