RACELAND DERBY Letterbox Hybrid
LETSRACE: I'll pick this one up this week. Soggy Bottom is just too wet for a cache to stay dry enough for today's descriminating cachers. I invite all the recent finders to search for some of my ammo boxes. They're always dry and full of swag. Thanks for the long run of the RACELAND DERBY letterbox.....LETSRACE

Take the time to read the new historical marker and look at the map before you start the hunt. It explains a lot about this area. The container is a small tupperware type box about 3x4 inches. It contains a rubber stamp that is not a trade item, and a log sheet. The box will contain only small items. Just trade small so it will all fit. Enjoy the area. Bring your favorite golf club during the summer. Imagine what it must have been like in 1924 with thousands of people here, arriving by train, carriage, and maybe some Model T Fords, to see the derby. Be sure to listen for the ghosts of the thoroughbreds and the clang of the blacksmith's hammer.....LETSRACE
