Geocache Description:

Plastic container cache at the site of a scene from the movie "Two Lane Blacktop"

This site is interesting because it is an abandoned 1/4 mile drag strip and road course. It was also used in the filming of the 1971 movie "Two Lane Blacktop".

This is my first placing of a cache. It is in a plastic container and stocked with the following:

I hope you enjoy this cache and the surrounding history of the location. You can park at the mall and walk up. Watch for deer in the woods. I spooked 3 doe while placing the cache.
