On a clear day, you can see San Clemente Island to the west from this hilltop. Called Morro Hill, or Sleeping Indian, it is a volcanic plug from several million years ago. 942 feet elevation, with a short hike, but a steep rocky trail. Great 360º view of the county. Park off the road at the base of the hill.
This is the first cache I have placed. There was another at this location, but it is long gone. So I put a new one there. Inside you will find these goodies.
