Glendale Scholl Canyon Park
2849 E. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA
From the 134 Freeway, exit on Harvey Dr. Go north towards mountains. Turn right on Glenoaks Blvd. Turn right on Glenoaks Canyon, just before the gates that lead up the hill to the Scholl Canyon Golf & Tennis Complex. The turn-off is by our "Welcome to Scholl Canyon Park" Cache (GCHF06).
Park hours: Dawn to Dusk
Park parking: Free
Park Size: 6 acres
The park includes picnic tables, playgrounds, drinking fountains, restrooms. The trailhead is behind a block wall, just north of some playground equipment and the covered picnic tables, by the upper of the two parking lots.
The trail is quite narrow and is fairly steep in places.
The cache is an ammo can and is less than 500 feet from the trailhead. Be prepared to do some body bending on this one! Proper shoes and long pants are suggested.
