A 2-3 mile hike, round trip, over generally level terrain. The
cache can also be reached by canoe or kayak.
This cache can be easily reached from 2 starting points. I
parked at N 44° 22.528, W 074° 05.225, and walked in to the cache.
Alternately you can park at 44° 22.731'N, 74° 03.583'W and either
canoe/kayak or ski/snowshoe (depending on the state of the water
when you are out geocaching).
Either way, there is a secondary waypoint you really should
visit either before or after you find the cache: N 44° 22.185, W
074° 04.126. This is a spectacular picnic or swimming spot, with a
great view of the pond and mountains on the other side.
The cache is not in plain view, but should be easy enough to
find for experienced geocachers. This geocache is possible in all 4
seasons, although the degree of difficulty will be higher in
particularly cold or snowy times of the year. The geocache has a
logbook, pencil & sharpener, and the usual trade items
