A stairway walk in San Francisco is one of the best ways to see the city, on both a macro and micro scale. There are majestic vistas for miles all around you, while at the same time you get an up close and personal view of some of the most exquisitely detailed homes and gardens in the world.
This cache will take you to one of the last public wooden stairways on Twin Peaks. Watch your step as several of the aging stairs are far from level. There is no need to go on any private property... and please don't disturb the neighbors. Stairs may be closed at the top but are open at the bottom. Small Lock & Lock box with a logbook and a few trade items. Cache trivia: According to my topo map, this spot is directly above the Twin Peaks MUNI tunnel.
