Geocache Description:

Our third annual Christmas cache, now a regular cache.

This is located in the far end of a concervation area. The locked gate is for hydro access to the easement, so don't worry about stepping over the chain. You can walk (2-3 km) from the main parking lot, or access it from this side road. There is a lookout nearby, (N 43.93512, W078.96927)where hawk watching takes place every year. This is a common access path to the lookout.

Getting to it is also open to the wind, so dress appropriately. If it snows, cross country skiing is popular in the area.

P.S. Log book placed February 12, 2005 and Christmas decorations removed.
