Geocache Description:

The coordinates above will take you to Wavendon Church. From here a clue will lead you on foot to the cache which is a 15-20 minute walk away.

At Wavendon Church you need to find the grave of Private F.S Collins, of the Tank Corps who died in 1918. From the headstone you need to find his service number which is a 6 digit number. This number corresponds to ABCDEF. Using this code insert the missing numbers below to find the location of the cache. N 52.B1.1CB W 000.F9.6AE Please note this is a working church and that the graveyard to the rear of the church is still active. Please avoid this area and behave in an appropriate manner. The final cache can get quite overgrown in summer and has vanished into the undergrowth in the past. Expect some jungle bashing for the last few feet. Shorts are not a good idea! Also there is no access to the final cache from Frost's Garden Centre. It is possible to get unofficial access from further down the main road but parking can be tricky. However you are supposed to walk to the cache which is close to the footpath.
