There are plenty of National Forest roads in this area. Maybe a few too many. If you choose the right ones you can park less than a mile from the cache and enjoy an easy trail. We suggest staying on the trail until you reach a section identifiable by the many ferns along side. Just a little uphill bushwacking is required from there to the end.
In clear fall weather you'll be rewarded for your effort with a great view of Lake Marvin at 340° true. In summer the denser foliage of the hardwoods obstructs the view but there are lots of songbirds and wildflowers to enjoy.
You're looking for a .30 cal. ammo box. Unless this is your first cache, the location will be obvious once you get close. We hope you enjoy this beautiful area and trail. Please rehide it as you found it and cover your trail. Good Hunting!.
Small note: As required by the USFS in the Chattahoochee National Forest, the container has been prominantly labelled as a geocache and includes the waypoint number and owner's e-mail address.
